As of April 2010 the PS3 is available in 250GB for 349.99 in the USA. Larger size hard drives can be purchased and installed in a custom installation
The PlayStation 3 utilizes standard 2.5" hard disk drives, the same kind found in virtually all notebook computers today. This means that the PlayStation 3 can potentially have storage sizes in excess of one terabyte. To improve the storage capacity of your PlayStation 3 system, you can remove the black plastic panel on the bottom of your PS3. This reveals the chassis of the PS3; once this is complete remove the blue screw with a Philips head screwdriver. This will allow you you to slide out the hard drive caddy. Next to the screw hole should be a small metal latch, turning this 90 degrees will allow you to pull the caddy out, freeing the hard drive from its data and power connection. Once you have replaced the hard drive, perform the previous instructions in reverse order to reassemble the PlayStation 3 system.

The PS3 has 160 GB or 320 GB and looks like all the other PS3 slim models because the harddrive is not visible
60 gb ps3
It is a 320 GB PS3 released August 2011 and the last model of the slim PS3 before the new Super Slim. The 160 GB model ends with an A
The PS3 does not come in a 180 GB model and never did and never will. I don't think they even make a standard laptop harddrive in the 180 GB size. PS3 uses standard laptop harddrives in the PS3 production, which are currently made with 160GB and 320 GB harddrives
No 149Gb PS3 and no PS3 with over 80 GB can play PS2 game and most 80 GB models do not play them only the first with 4 USB ports
