To do crossword puzzles you look at the numbered clues. Then you put the answer to the across clue in its numbered space. If you don't know the answer to a clue then look at the same clue number in the down clue and put its answer in that space. Work back and forth between the across and down clues until you have filled out the entire puzzle. Start off with easy puzzles until you get the hang of it then you can progress to harder puzzles.
