there isn't a difference. its just like the i pods. there is a gen. 1000 a gen. 2000 and a gen 3000. but if ur talking the difference between a psp gen. 3000 or a psp go then the psp go is smaller. u have to have online for it. and u cant buy regular game disks for it.
The PSP 3000 is the third generation of the PSP system, there is also a PSP 2000 (AKA slim). a PSP 1000 (AKA phat). and the PSP go, which is the most recent iteration of the PSP.
There's no physical difference, the number at the end is the PSP's region which will affect what movie UMDs you can play, and some online features such as the PSN. PSP-2000 is the Japanese regional variant, PSP-2001 is the North American.

The two major differences between are: 1. Slim has better battery life 2. Obviously...slim is, well, slimmer =) -Rittyl
One of the biggest things is the PSP Go has a bigger screen and internal memory. Which in this case there is no need for game cartridges for PSP Go.

There are no such things as 'PSP 1000' games, no PSP game is made for a specific model. Any PSP UMD will work in any PSP that has a UMD drive.
the diffident between them is there region locked so if you get a American psp and you have a UK psn account and you try downloading a game or video it may not work the same for UMD moves
Nothing.

I belive you mean the psp 2000 and 3000 or the psp slim and psp slim and light. The differences are numerious but the main differences are, the screen has a higher resolution, the console is alot lighter and you do notice, the colour difference is amazing.
actually the psp 3000 came out after the psp slim but the only dfference i know is that it has better picture quality.
The PSP 3000 is a LITTLE slimmer and it automatically comes with PlayStation Network The Software is also higher

yes you can. There's no difference in the games except you have to need to be at the firmware that the game requires which comes on the games anyway.
Yes, as the only difference between the psp 1000 and 1001 is region. The 1000 is Japan and the 1001 is USA I think
