If you type in in the cheat bar "testingcheatsenabled true", press enter then hold down shift then click on the mailbox. Then select "set career" select the career you want and click on the level you want.
i think you just have to look around, i heard that there is a cheat to make your skill points increase or decrease but you will have to look around on the internet for that. Hope that helped.
I'm sorry but there is no cheat for skill levels in the sims bustin out.But there is a cheat to bring your motives up so you can study longer.

If you mean the career, not going to happen. Although, if you build up their creativity skill, you can use a karaoke machine. Or, you can use it to actually build up their creativity skill.

Assuming you are talking about the Science Career on The Sims 3, check the careers tab on your Sim's info panel and see which skills are needed for your career. If you need a skill, the skill bubble will have a white halo around the empty bubble. If you have the skill already, the bubble will be filled with green and have a white halo around it. Go to work in a good mood, gain skill points in the ones your career needs, and go to work on time. After a few days, you should get promoted.
No, there is no cheat code for skills on The Sims 3.
