There is no best way, only one way. you need to beat the 7th gym leader (get rock climb). and strength. Go to mount coronet through oreburgh. surf at top right. rock climb and go up the stairs. Then use strength on boulders near the entrance and Looker will talk to you if you haven't beaten Cyrus. go through the exit and use rock climbs outside and at one point you will see a rock climb leading up and left where there is a single patch of wild grass. Take the rock climb on the left. go left. then down and through the cave. Then follow the cave exits. (take dig and fly).

First off, your technically still in mount coronet when your at spear pillar, so you can't fly. And second of all, you exit spear pillar the way you came and go back into mount coronet (the way that you came into spear pillar). If you have an escape rope, I'd recommend using it.
