PlayStation (1994) was older than the better Xbox (2001) , but not better than the PS2 (2000) which is why the Xbox was discontinued in late 2005 in Japan, late 2006 in Europe and early 2007 in North America and the PS2 continues to be produced or at least still sold new
personaly i think xbox is better because even though you have to pay for xbox live if you were playing ect Call of Duty on playstation because there is no money to support there system in can just cut out
They were asking about Xbox not Xbox 360 and not PS3 but PS one. It was a loaded question because the Xbox 2001 release was 7 years later than the Playstation December 1994 release and even after the PS2 release in March 2000

Playstation**
PlayStation is made by Sony and Xbox is made by Microsoft.
Playstation was made first. The original PlayStation was first created, then came the PS2, then the Xbox. After that the Xbox 360 came, along with the PS3 shortly after.
PlayStation 3 as it has blu ray but the XBOX isn't far behind
PlayStation is best because it has Blu Ray capabilities. Also the Xbox core is a modified playstation one. Actually, Xbox was released before PS3, and it's vice versa. PS3 core is a modified Xbox one.

Depends on if you’re looking for better graphics or better price, and best streaming quality if you’re looking for better graphics Xbox is the best choice but if you’re looking for better price and best streaming quality than PlayStation is the best choice
The PLAYSTATION 3 or the XBOX 360.
Not likely, multiplayer game progress will be transferred on Battlefield 4 from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One, but not cross-console.
xbox is good but the playstation is better in ways to me 1.playstation network is free and xbox live is $50 dollars a year 2.xbox has rrod and playstation doesn't 3.xbox copied playstation with the slim 4.playstation has 4 gens and xbox only has 2 gens 5.and finally playstation has blu ray and DVD p.s xbox halo rocks!

No, there is no cross-platform support on the Xbox One or Xbox 360 (same with Playstation 3 and 4).
