i recommend dragon types and fire types and grass types somtime electric and dark
but most importantly is dragon types cause the are every type dragon fire dragon grass dragon water dragon electric dragon pshycic too that's why dragon is the answer for everything
I think the best team is Blaziken- fire and fighting, Shiftry-dark and grass, skarmory -flying- steel, Claydol -ground and physic, last evoled form of spheal, ice-water. Rayquaza,dragon and flying, and if you don't like rayquaza use salamance also dragon and flying
My Pokemon team on my emerald to defeat the elite four was...
Blaziken lvl 45
Bulk up, Blaze kick, Attract and Brick break
Aggron lvl 43
Earthquake, Protect, Dragon claw and Toxic
Dusclops lvl 45
Shadow punch, Hidden power(Ghost), Will-o-wisp and Dynamicpunch (hard but worth it)
Gardevoir lvl 46
Thunderbolt, Psychic, Hidden power(Electric) and Calm mind
Swellow lvl 49(higher lvl'd cause I traded from my ruby=D)
Agility, Fly, Endeavor and Double team
Last but not least
Electrode lvl 49(overtrained)
Thunderbolt, Selfdestruct, Lightscreen and Swagger
Note beat Elite four and Wallace without losing a Pokemon
and aggron has toxic for annoying Pokemon
-Edit: I beat the Elite four only using Blaziken and Geodude as a blocker, I'd just suggest you get Blaziken to 75 or higher and Geodude to 50.
For me.. I use blaziken "fire,fighting type" grumpig "pshychic" gyarados "water dragon" and rayquaza...since my pokemon are few their lvl are high(50+) most of the time in the league i use blazekick(blaziken),pshychic(grumpig),rage(rayquaza) and ice beam(gyarados) its easy as long as you know the enemys weakness..dont forget ether and pp uup just in case
