Gyarados is a water\flying type, flying being weak to rock/electricity and water being weak to electricity. If you used an electric type attack on Gyarados, it would do x4 damage instead of x2. using a grass type move on Gyarados would only have a x1 damage ratio because, well you can figure that out. Gyarados is not weak to dragon because GyARADOS IS NOT DRAGON. only dragon is weak against dragon. -tuttle
