What is dawns last name in Pokemon?

As far as the English dub of Pokemon goes, Dawn has no last name, just like most of the lead characters of Pokemon. Hikari is her original Japanese name.Only characters 5 as i recall in Pokemon have last names.Ash Ketchum, Gary Oak and Tracy Sketchit are the three everyone knows.but the person who wrote this before me was not thinking straight or else i am a pokenerd because the other two are a bit harder.First, one quite a few people might know is Kid Summers, the zany young babe holding at least 17 world records who stole Brock's heart in the movie Pokemon Lucario and the misery of Mew but the final one is really tricky.

If you noticed this one you are a pokenerd because in Pokemon Celebi: Voice of the Forest, there is a little boy.I forget his name but he is the little boy who saves Celebi and always draws things in his sketch book.In the movie you might notice that, while Celebi was sleeping by the campfire, he drew a picture of it.In the end credits, Prof. Oak and his assistant were cleaning.While his assistant was cleaning out a closet, a bunch of books from the top shelf fell out.The one on top of the pile fell open.As he man picks it up, it is revealed that, the picture the page fell open to was the same picture the boy drew of Celebi sleeping and therefore, I now conclude that the little boys last name was in fact:Oak and grew up to be the one and only, Professor Oak, father of Gary Oak!

In the Pokemon anime most of the character's last names are not mentioned. We only know the full names of Ash Ketchum, Delia Ketchum, Gary Oak, Samuel Oak, Tracy Sketchit, Kid Summers (from the Lucario movie)

However a some popular fan surnames for Dawn are Berlitz, Hikari (her Japanese name) and Simpson.
