According to SOWPODS (the combination of Scrabble dictionaries used around the world) there are 1 words with the pattern A-A-OL. That is, six letter words with 1st letter A and 3rd letter A and 5th letter O and 6th letter L. In alphabetical order, they are: amatol
A mixture of TNT and ammonium nitrate can create a powerful explosive known as ANFO (ammonium nitrate fuel oil). This combination is commonly used in industrial blasting operations due to its high energy release. However, it is also a common ingredient in makeshift bombs and has been used in several high-profile terrorist attacks.
Bombs made of explosive materials have been around for several centuries. The first bombs were made of black powder and detonated with a burning fuse; later chemical explosives like nitroglycerin and mercury fulminate were used. Since nitro was highly unstable and dangerous to use TNT dynamite was developed. Since them several more advanced explosives like Amatol and C-4 have been developed.
The V-1 rocket bomb, also known as the "Buzz Bomb", was filled with a mixture of ethanol and liquid oxygen as fuel for its pulsejet engine, while its warhead contained approximately 1,870 pounds (850 kg) of high explosive, typically amatol, which is a mixture of TNT and ammonium nitrate.

A high explosive is a chemical or mixture that undergoes detonation and has a high detonation wave speed (in the thousands of feet per second). Some examples of high explosives are nitroglycerine, dynamite, TNT, ammonium nitrate fuel oil (ANFO), torpex, composition B, C-4, fuel-air explosive, RDX, baratol, amatol, nitrogen triiodide, Mercury fulminate, sodium azide, etc. Note: Blackpowder is not a high explosive but the US DOT classifies it as a high explosive solely due to the ease with which it can be accidentally ignited. Other low explosives are not so easily ignited so the US DOT classifies them as what they actually are. Blackpowder and other low explosives undergo deflagration (not detonation) and only burn very rapidly (never forming a detonation wave in the material).

Answer the teller mine was used mainly against armoured vehicles.A Teller mine was a German land mine that was made famous during WW2. The word "Teller" in German means "plate". The name came from their flat, plate shape. The first variant was the TMi-29 mine that appeared in the 1930's were twice as powerful as any mine made up to then. It was 18" in diameter and carried 13.2 lbs of TNT. The TMi-35 was a smaller mine that saw service until 1943. The TMi-35 mine was 13" in diameter and weighed 21 lbs and was detonated by pressure placed on the lid that fired a central igniter. The TMi-43 mine was the last of this series to be introduced in WWII. It was similar to the Tmi-35 but it used Amatol explosives. The term, "Teller mine" is still used today to describe a similar shape land mine.A related item, the "bouncing Betty" was a small anti-personel mine. When tripped, it would jump into the air and explode, sending dozens of small balls in every direction.Totally unrelated, Edward Teller was nuclear scientist who was called "the father of the Hydrogen bomb" (the nuclear bomb that was the upgrade from the atomic bomb developed during WW2).
The majority of bombs used were conventional HE (High Explosive) containing explosives such as Amatol and Torpex. These underwent gradual evolution, especially on the Allied side, becoming much more reliable and also becoming more specialised; the GP (General Purpose) bombs used in the early stages of the war became thin-cased HC (High Capacity) blast bombs, which also gradually increased in size (the largest HC bomb was 12,000lb) as bombers got more powerful. Specialised bombs such as Tallboy and Grand Slam (6 and 10 tons respectively) were also developed for penetrating massive concrete structures such as U-boat pens, or burying themselves in earth and creating an earthquake effect. Incendiaries were also heavily used, especially against cities made of flammable materials such as many German and Japanese cities. The main plan was for HE bombs to damage the buildings and make them more susceptible to incendiaries, as well as disrupting efforts to fight the fires, creating a lethal firestorm. At the end of the War, nuclear weapons were used for the first (and so far last) time. Although not very powerful by modern standards, Fat Man (21,000 tons TNT equivalent) was still far more powerful than even the heaviest bombing raid, with the added factor of fallout. However, the effects were actually rather inferior to what would have been achieved with a conventional attack employing that amount of explosive; this may be a reason behind the trend towards the use of smaller warheads nowadays, owing to the effects decreasing in proportion to the square of distance. At Nagasaki, the weapon missed the centre, which a large conventional raid would not have done. However, nuclear weapons were still awesomely destructive. The majority of bombs used were conventional HE (High Explosive) containing explosives such as Amatol and Torpex.
