WRONG CHARACTER! Its snake that has a thing for samus. Also I think Ike has a thing for Zelda.
I think there are bros. because, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl Ike helped Marth defeat the Pirmids.

No Marth isn't brothers with Ike. They are not in the same fire emblem. But that would be awesome I hope I helped you!
He is so often associated with chicken because in Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance, Soren tells Aimee(A merchant who is obsessed over Ike) that if she wants to impress him, she wont be able to with items, but with food, especialy spicy meat dishes. Another part that supports the fact that Ike likes meat is that when at the end, King Caineghis offers to have Ike visit his coultry for some of their special deserts, but Ike says something like, "No thanks, but some meat would be nice."
