It depends on how hard you drop it. If you slam it down onto the ground REALLY hard it'll break the screen and youwon't be able to play it again or probably the top screen of your DS (depending on how floppy it is) will go flying off and crashing to the ground. If its a soft fall it will just give a few small scratches or nothing at all, my DS lite has been very reliable these past few years, but just as a tip, don't drop it all the time like I do otherwise the screen will get so floppy that after it gets super-floppy next time you drop it, no matter how hard the fall is, it'll break and you'll have to buy a new one.
