What if Pr Rowan says did you come to show me the progres on your Pokedex?

then you can just say "yes" or "no" wither way it doesn't ruin anything on your game in any way shape or form if that's what you are worried about. if you say no then he will say somehing like, alright but are you ashamed to show your progress (again, something like that...) and if you say yes then he will notice how many you have gotten then tell you if that is good or bad and finally give you advice o help you improve your pokedex.

How do you get the pokeradar in Pokemon FireRed?
In Pokemon Platinum you can obtain the PokeRadar along with the National Mode for your Pokedex. You can get the PokeRadar when you have seen all 210 Pokemon in the Standard Sinnoh Pokedex. Then, go to Sandgem Town and talk to Professor Rowan and then Professor Oak from the Johto Region will come in and upgrade you Pokedex with the National Mode, then he says he will be in Eterna City for a while. After that, Rowan will give you the PokeRadar, which can locate Pokemon hiding in grass patches. Professor Oak will then leave the Pokemon Research Lab and go to a house in Eterna City. In addition to this piece of information, in Eterna City when you visit Oak he will say that the three legendary bird Pokemon, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are roaming Sinnoh. You can locate these Pokemon using the Poketch app Marking Map, Oak will also say that at the end of Route 221, which is south of Sandgem Town, the Pal Park has now opened. After you see all of the Pokemon in your pokedex, show ur pokedex to professor Rowan and I'm not sure exactly what happens next, because I haven't reached that part yet, but I think he just says good job and hands you the national pokedex! If you don't know how to see all of the Pokemon, just battle as many of the trainers as you can and don't forget Dialga who is at the top of Mt. Coronet. I have already caught it!
