When I was growing up, we had an old word game named after the radio program called 'The Fibber McGee and Molly Game'. It was a very silly game that had a book of stories featuring McGee with blank spaces throughout the text. The players would select words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.), then someone would read the story with the provided words in the blanks. I don't remember the point to the game but we sure laughed a lot.
