What do you do in Pokemon platinum at the poke mansion its all really kind of confusing?

Go to the room with two guys. One of them is Mr.Backlot, the owner of the Pokemon mansion. I think after you get the National, you can talk to him everyday, and he will tell you a new Pokemon that appears in his garden everyday.
Some of the Pokemon in the trophy garden are: bonsly, pichu, chansey, castform, chatot, and some rare Pokemon that I happen to forgot the name of.

you can find them in Mr.Backlot's Mansion in route 212 but not really in his mansion in his trophy garden . Mr.Backlot will tell you what Pokemon are in his garden. but you would need the nat.dex so he can tell you . and if you can't find the Pokemon you are looking 4 you can just save the game and start again. (make sure you save and then restart the minute mr backlot says the Pokemon's name ur not looking for ) (National Pokedex Required)
