Dry it off as much as possible. If you just got water on it, unplug it and try running a hair dryer over it. If you dropped a soda or other sticky drink on it, you are probably out of luck. You can also try swabbing the areas with a qtip dipped in rubbing alcohol, but the gunk may have gotten to areas you can't access and/or put back together. Make sure that you have an adult working with you on this.
