You need to get the candy from the witch you see in an inn somewhere (Make sure you have this quest if not go to the "city hall" in witch-wood to obtain it) then once you have found the candy give it to the city hall. you can guess where to go from there as it's pretty easy :p

Talk to the naylithian -the one with the harp- and she says that one of her harp strings is broken. Go to chateau lenore and and talk to sienna and get a harp string from her room. Give it to the naylithian and she gives you a key. Use it on the locked gate in the village and I thing there is a treasure key there as well as some good equipment.
