Call of Duty: Black Ops has been given an 18 certificate.

It is for Strong Language Blood and Gore and intense Violence and varies with the rating board for the different countries whether the age is 15 17 or 18.

Age does not really matter in Call of Duty.yes age stops you from purchasing the game not playing it

I am not saying Call of Duty is bad, but you will encounter many people in Call of Duty that are below 18 years old. Yes because the game can be played by anyone who has the game and there console is not age restricted.

I guess Call of Duty gives its games 18 certificates to help stop the stereotype of 12 year old people scattered all over the game, but overall, there is nothing violent/sexual. No the rating is given by the rating board and all first person shooters are adult rated because of the realistic violence. The Strong Language and drug use do not make the rating worse if a game already has Blood and Gore and Intense Violence

Everything you will see is basically swear words, and I'm fine with that. The swear words could be taken out and the game would still be rated for adults
