The objectives of any board game or video game is simple---to have fun and enjoyment! However, some games are educational as well. In Scrabble, the objective is to gain the highest total point score by the end of the game. To do so, players must correctly spell words while linking to existing words already played. Words must connect to an existing word. New plays can be as short as 2-letters. There are double and triple letter bonuses and word bonuses with the word triples on top, bottom, both sides, and all 4 corners. Ann automatic 50 points is added to the word's scoring if a player uses all letters in one turn. Scrabble teaches spelling, creative thinking through arranging one word connected to another, and making strategies for ways to get more points. Playing against robots online allows players to see unusual words (especially ones beginning with vowels), and creative connections between words that are played.
