Currently, the best graphics available are 1080p, which is great but some games only support 720p (also high-definition) but isn't as good. These definitions are awesome and look spectacular with a Sharp: Aquos 46" and up, but for better gameplay on the PS3 use Sony products. From my personal experience, I prefer the PS3 because the graphics are just awesome and has more positive things than the Xbox 360, like better designs for controllers and great games for only the PS3, but one of its two flaws (which I consider the greatest) is that it DOESN'T have Halo.
So if you were to buy a gaming console for ONLY graphics, buy the PS3.
