Currently the only use for ink sacs on minecraft is for dying wool. Using a raw ink sac on wool turns the wool into black wool. Using the ink sac with one bone meal creates gray dye and using it with two bone meal makes light gray dye.

If you meant squid, then yes. However the squid only seems to be used for collecting ink sacs, since it really doesn't do anything.When you kill it,you get an ink sac which can be used as dye or writing a book in Minecraft PC.
