UFOs can appear as anything the human mind can imagine... for obvious reasons. My favorite was during the '73 UFO flap-- some old lady said she'd seen a UFO. When they asked her how she knew it was a UFO, she said it had the letters UFO on it!

If you mean by UFO "unidentified flying object", then the answer is yes, people in England are as likely not to recognize what they are seeing in the sky, as anyone else. If you are one of those people who think that the letters UFO somehow spell "alien spacecraft", then the answer is no. There is as yet nothing to suggest we are not alone in the Universe. After all, someone has to be first, and it might well be us.
