All 11 of the buttons (including the "trigger") on the Attack 3 joystick can be considered as a "function button". The actual applicable function of each button on a Logitech Attack 3 joystick is completely software driven. Thus what happens when a button is pressed or any combination thereof depends on software and perhaps user preferences. A button that fires rockets in one game or simulation may change view or do something else different in another game/sim. Games/sims may even change what each button does on different vehicles in the same game/sim. Also note that not all games/sims may take advantage of every button available.

he is super easy. all you do is home attack his buttons. he will take major damage if all 3 matches of bomb or missle. if your lucky you might even get chaos blast.
no because the majority of cheats require buttons and the iPod doesn't have buttons
Well, you do special moves by combining all buttons. To do a super move, combine 2 or 3 buttons at a time. This stumped me for a while, too.
Just keep clicking random buttons.
you set these yourself in the set up (controls ) options
Yes. My Logitech Attack 3 Joystick works fine on Windows 7 Professional.
The Logitech Attack 3 joystick can be used with XPlane. Ensure that the joystick is connected before launching XPlane so it is recognised. You will probably need to adjust the joystick controls in the XPlane Settings to get it to work just the way you prefer.
Yes.But if the PS3 game doesn't allow you to map the buttons, the buttons may not do what you want.
you use the triangle, square, or circle buttons + the joystick.

truck simulators and other driving games
Both are about the same in capability
If you mean you're moving without hitting any buttons then it's most likely that the joystick(s) weren't centre when you turned on the game or when you turned on/plunged in your controller. This makes the game think that whenever the Joystick was when you turned the game on is the centre meaning that when the Joystick is centre it's off centre and you will walk.
QCB two attack buttons
Basically just the same as a standard stick with the added advantage that it has a number of buttons that can be programmed in settings ... Controls. Each but on can have an operation associated with flight controlling. I.e key 2 can be set for repetitive clicks to bring down flaps and button 3 opposite for the same repetition to raise the flaps. It has a wheel behind the stick that is programmed for thrusters.
I use the Logitech Attack 3. You can get it online for less than $20. The only problem I have with it is that it does not rotate, so you will need to use the num pad for rudders.
