The most powerful water type pokemons are kyogre and Palkia. Wrong. Palkia and Lugia tie for it. Kyogre is less powerful. But Arceus with the Water Plate could be considered more powerful.
Lugia is cause it's in the cover box but there are others as well like: Ho-oh, raiku, entei, suicune, zapdos, moltes, articuno, mewtwo, latios, and groudon (that's all i know and caught but there may be more) In heart gold there is latias and kyogre and if you trade either kyogre or groudon you can get rayquaza
not only sebelai, kyogre, and more 3.

Pokemon evolve so that you can have a larger variety of Pokemon and to have better ones that can be more powerful.
In a battle Groudon, would win you see groudon has 150 attack and 140 defense kyogre has 90 attack and 90 defense threfore groudon rules!
in the begining, the world was empty, and then came groudon and kyroge, kyroge made the oceans for water pokemon, and groudon made land for land pokemon. soon kyroge and groudon started fighting for more space and it eventually got out of control, then rayquaza came and stopped the fight with an extremely powerful hyperbeam attack, then kyroge and groudon fell into a deep sleep...........
Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, The Regis, Latios and Latias, and a lot more.
Better is pokemon emerald.you can catch more pokemon-you can catch kyogre and groudon-you can battle with the frontier brains and collect the seven symbols in battle frontier

all of the legendaries and it depends on what Pokemon you like and lots of Pokemon are better than giratina such as: Mewtwo, Dialga, Darkrai, Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza and alot more

kyogre, groudon, raquaza, jarachi (I think), deoxys (I think), latios, latias, the three reggies (regigigas couldn't be caught) and some more. I think.
Well, you can be any Pokemon you recruit. There are also many legendary Pokemon such as mewto, mew, suicune, raiku, entei, raquaza, groudon. kyogre, zapdos, moltres, arcticuno and many more.
Well kyogre is a water type and groudon is fighting and water is super effective so if kyogre knows any water moves (besides aqua ring) its most likely kyogre will win but if kyogre knows no water moves theres a chance groudon COULD win but seeing fighting is not very effective on water it is still MOST LIKELY kyogre win the match. :)
Kyogre- sheer cold Groudon- fissure thats all i can think of right now. if i think of more i will get back to you
After you beat the Pokemon league you go to the weather center and ask the man on the top floor where the the two legendary Pokemon Kyogre and Groudon are and hell tell you. To find out more go to my site called www.miquel.ning.com
