There's only one region in Pokemon Sapphire, and that's the Hoenn region.
Not regions seen in other games, but you can visit some islands that are introduced in the FireRed and LeafGreen games.
well heartgold and soulsilver takes place in the kanto and johto regions, so obviously the pokemon from those regions are there, though probably not in the same place as the original games. there is also hoenn region and sinnoh region pokemon in this game, but in order to get those you have to listen to a certain type of musice on the radio on a certain day in the game. for more help on where to find hoenn and sinnoh region pokemon in these games, you should really go to seribii.net

Yes you can trade Pokémon between two Pokémon Yellow games.
If you mean Pokemon Regions then the answer is no! There are only 4 games with 2 regions and that's Pokemon: Gold, Silver, Heart Gold and Soul Silver!
The two regions in Pokemon Soulsilver are Johto, the region you start out in, and Kanto, the one you go to afterwards.
Yes and now you can get pokemon card games from different regions too!)
Actually there are five regions the fifth is Isshu from the new Pokemon games Black and White.
Pokemon all Regions

Not yet. As of now, Pokemon is coming out with their new games Pokemon X and Pokemon Y in October 2013; which is an entirely new gameplay. So far, the most regions you can travel in a hand-held Pokemon game is in Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver, through the Johto and Kanto regions.
You can't - their sprites and such aren't programmed into other games.
No. If you want to go to other regions you must buy other Pokemon games.
There's only one region in Pokemon Sapphire, and that's the Hoenn region.
It switches between the two regions you can go to.
Hoenn in Pokemon Platinum does not exist. I believe games in the future should have 2 or 3 regions in it. Pokemon Platinum only has the Sinnoh Region.
