It's been said that the best combination for Class and Prestige is Jedi Consular/Jedi Weapon Master. But it really depends on what you want to do.
one way to get the prestige class on KOTOR II by talking to Kreia enough on the Ebon Hawk after getting more members of your party than just Atton and T3

To unlock extra classes you must prestige. In order to prestige, you need to level up 50 times and press "Prestige Mode" in player card. When u prestige once u unlock one extra class and prestige thrice (3times) u unlock another and prestige 5-7-9 and so on until all r unlock
All prestige classes have requirements. For example, Dragon Discipline requires you to have levels of either bard or sorcerer, as well as a few other things. When you've reached all requirements and level up, the prestige class becomes "unlocked".
In Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer when the players ranks up to level four they can now use five different custom class slots, when the player chooses to prestige they gain a sixth custom class slot. The player will gain another custom class slot at every odd prestige level, stopping at prestige nine. This makes a total of ten custom class slots.

In KotOR 1 you must be trained by the Jedi Council on Dantooine, and the class you choose is always a form of Jedi, even if you turn to the Dark Side. In KotOR 2, when you choose a prestige class, the names of the available classes are dictated by your alignment throughout the game (Sith for Dark Side, Jedi for Light Side).
