You can find a Shiny Stone in Route 228 in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. In Pokemon Platinum, you can also find a Shiny Stone on Iron Island.
To get a thunder stone, or any type of stone on Pokemon pearl, you need to go underground and look for a bit, I found this the easiest way to get stones.
You cannot get the Dawn Stone in Pokemon Emerald, as it is first introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
There is not any dawn stone in Pokemon emerald, only in Diamond and Pearl. And the Pokemon that evolve from this stone don't appear in emerald/ruby/sapphire, they become available in Diamond and Pearl.

first you need to get a glume at route 229 then you need a leaf stone then you use it on glume and it will evolve into vileplume
You migrate it from Pokemon Ruby or Emerald. You can evolve it into a Shiftry with a Leaf Stone. They're very rare but in Ruby you can catch them on Route 114.
No Pokemon can evolve with a hard stone

In Pokemon pearl, misdreveaus evolves into mismagius with a dusk stone. In diamond, murkrow evolves into honchkrow with a dusk stone.
Happinny is the only Pokemon that can evolve with the Oval Stone.
