If you hold down the left and right buttons at the same time whilst loading a file you can play as luigi, there are other cheats such as big jumps, always have item codes , invincible, freeze timer and size modifier codes but these cheats are only compatible when you purchase action replay ds.

No there are no cheats that I know of. but there is cheats for the DS version
