A Lorelei Wickers from Sayville, NY was killed by her pimp in New Orleans after running away from home. This was in approximately 1982. I had a minor acquaintanceship with her on the detention bus when I was in 10th grade.

There was a very large story on it in Newsday, but I have not found it. Their archives have been digitized only as far back as 1985.

I was friends with Lorelei wickers. we lived 4 houses away from each other. In West Sayville. I knew her pretty well for a short time. We hung out alot before she ran away in January of 1981. she was killed by her pimp, but it happened in Texas on June 1st. 1981. She did run away with a couple of other girls (I believe). I have no idea who thay were.
