I have the same problem. like, ill play for a while, go to save and the save button is all greyed-out.it works sometimes but not for others. just go to the menu or map and minimize until you wanna play again is all i can really say. unless of course your at work or something...

you need to kill a carcass or eat. But in Survival of the pack, when your moving the pups to the Star place, you can save whenever you want.

For some odd reason you need to eat before you save This happens all the time to me! When It all turns black or map grey it sucks but just find food and eat and then you can save or it let me save when I ran around Hope I helped

UPDATE: Wolfquest is a great game and you can't buy it from a store. Usually its your firewall that won't let you play, type in firewall or find it and click on 'allow new progam' and click on wolfquest.

I'm not sure what you mean by "episode". If you are referring to WolfQuest 3, there is no release date. They don't have enough funding to even fix glitches for 2.5, let alone make an entirely new version of the game. If you are referring to WolfQuest 2.5, It is already released and you can download it for free from the website.

I got to the star on wolfquest and they howled but then the game like not exactly froze up but my wolf was walking and it wouldn't let me save wat does that mean?
it means you beat the game i know i was also confused what to do but now you just exit and replay the quest or make a new one
