As far as I know, there is no edit town mode in any console versions of The Sims 3. This is only in the PC version.

you cant, the ps3 version is missing many details, such as edit town, and world editor. it also gives you limits. it limits you to only 6 per household ( 8 in CPU version ) and it gives you a fire proof limit in build and buy mode, but there are still cheats like motherlode. but the ps3 includes a new feature karma, whick you can find more out about if you buy the game. game grade: B+

not unless you download riverview. but you cannot change towns and keep the same family though unfortunately. i think there will be an update in the future where more towns are added and you can change without switching families though.
