They have substitute contestants and they can replace you without explanation. It's a business and any producer can decide not to have you do the program. They would have weeded out most unacceptable contestants earlier than when actual studio time is involved. You have to be dressed like all the shows contestants have been and can not show up even wearing product endorsements. During College week you have to wear the school sweatshirt as an example of some parts of an unspoken dress code
