Here's an exp chart and how much it would take to max out your woodcutting.
Wllows:166,881
Yew:64,369
Magic:45,058
======================================
1-30 I woulds suggest oaks and logs near lumby.
30-40 Willows. 40-74 Ivy. 99-99 Magics! For many!
Congratz 99 Wcing! Also, use those logs for 99 fm!
There is no way of getting to it, at the moment - it is just there for Scenery.
I bet a few hundred people are pondering over how long it will take. From 78 Woodcutting to 99 Woodcutting can take from months to weeks, depending on what you want. You either can go for Money or Experience; Ovbiously everyone would want Money, However! The money way will take any where from 3months to a year. The easier route (That would make more money in the long run) is Ivy the 2009 Update, currently the fastest way to 99 Woodcutting. Requiring 68 Woodcutting, it is VERY popular. This is the best route.
willows until 75, yews until 80, and ivy upto 99 unless u want money do yew upto 95, and magics 95-99+
first if you are a combat level around: 35-40 go to varrock and kill castle guards and pick up grapes which the drop occasionally. if you are a lower combat level the do the same method on lumbridge goblins (the only downside to that is a bank is far away.) Another way is woodcutting so get your woodcutting level up till level 60 or higher (usually go to woodcutting island is your dungeoneering level is 30 or higher. (but there is no bank there so just bring a tinderbox.) The last way is by: Fist Of Guthix. So get tokens and buy bronze gauntlets, uncharge them and sell on the grand exchange. (It might take a while to sell so just be patent because I got 400k that way in about a hour. thanks and bye... ;D
There is no way to delete a Runescape Character, it always remains on their system.

Getting your woodcutting level to 60 and cutting yews.
Well, i play runescape, and i have got full saradomin. I made my money by woodcutting. But the easiest way to get money is by mining.
Try other worlds. Or a different area, a different time of day, or a different kind of tree. By the way, yew is not a good option for woodcutting training - it is too slow. It is only good if you want to make money off woodcutting.
Easier than what? You can get some resources and sell them. For example, you can do some mining, woodcutting or fishing.
The best way to make money in RuneScape appears to be woodcutting. At higher levels, this skill will give you a large yield. This is preferred over, for example, mining, because it takes a great deal of effort to attain high levels in the mining skill compared to woodcutting.
Powercutting at Willows in Draynor will provide a sturdy exp rate for those 30+, since it is near a bank.
The best way for a non-member to level woodcutting is by chopping willows, you wont get much money from doing this but its the fastest way to level woodcutting (even in members) there are some willow trees located in Draynor near to the bank
There are many ways to make money on RuneScape; an easy way is to get some resource and sell it. Some options include mining, fishing, woodcutting, or killing certain creatures such as cows or chickens.
Hunting is a good way to make money. edit: You can fish, mine, runecraft, do slayer. there's a lot of other ways
my friend was stuck on that also when he tried that. speak to roddeck and he will give you a hatchet, and start training woodcutting on the roots that are growing on the walls by clicking on them. after you get the appropriate woodcutting level, cut your way past the vines and exit through the ladder.
There isn't a better way.
