it wont you need to download the server thing of the minecraft website and replace the old one with it.
yeh , its the same thing, just put it in your texture pack folder,if you dont know how to find it, its here:'your username'/appdata/.minecraft/texturepacks
Go to Minecraft.net and go to play Download, you should see a "Game Client" type thing or you can get the "Minecraft Server" click the MC Server and download it and save it to the Desktop(Super EASY place to get it at) and you open the MC Server program up, and follow what it says, try google or youtube on parts you need help on.
Depends on the server. Most have /kill /spawn /home /sethome /warp (town/city/random thing) Those are the basics. But every server is different Ops have different commands such as /kick /ban /give (Name) (ID) (Amount) /banip /slay /setwarp
There is no such thing in Minecraft as a duplicator unless you get a mod.

depends on what type of server you're running. If its a bukkit server you must type /stop in order to save your map. Ifd you using the ine that minecraft provides on their website, type the same thing in, /stop
No. You have to use Bukkit. And there is no such thing as a hamachi server, it just means you connect to their network using Hamachi
"You can't use minecraft unless you have a premium account."Actually, you can. you just have to make sure that you have LEGAL access to Minecraft, and the server that you want to play on has the option of "online-mode=false" This makes it so the server makes no attempt to authorize the player trying to join. The only thing you have to do is find a server that has that option disabled.
No, but they're very similar. Minecraft 1.4.7 has a few bug-fixes. You can still play Minecraft 1.4.6 on a 1.4.7 server, or the other way around.

look for their website, if they have one (they should) there should be an application thing for that there
There is a pumpkin carving mod, as well as many different furniture mods. If you go to the Mineplex server on your Minecraft, then you can play a game called draw my thing which is about art.
I'm pretty sure that there isn't a command for that, but it says what everyone does in the server hosting thing. (Only the host can see it)
Go into the computer that has the server and find the IP address, then go into your computer and after you log in select Multiplayer and select Direct Connect and enter in that IP address you found. You can also select Add server and do the same thing.
