So far, SEGA is set to release two Sonic games this year, Sonic: Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter games.
sonic has been known since 1991 i think and after sega how populated sonic was they decided to make videos and movies and tv series
no, only software. they declared themselves out of the race after the failure of the dreamcast
yes sega is already writing it should be called twilight velocity for wii and ds well actually its not Sega who is developing the chronicles series but Bioware, apparently Bioware was writing the storyline, thus confirming at the time that there would be another Sonic Chronicles, but it has been awhile so either they are going to make one but are taking their time or the idea has been scrapped. I hope not though, Sonic Chronicles was enjoyable and I hate cliffhangers.
The next Sonic game codenamed 'Project Needlemouse' is coming in 2010 and will be a 2D-classic style Sonic. SEGA wouldn't have made the Hedgehog Engine just for one game, so there will definitely be more 3D Sonic games. It is unknown whether they will make a Sonic Unleashed 2 but it isn't likely given that heaps of people hate the Werehog.
Yes.

No SEGA won't make a Sonic Heroes 2.
No information has been released by SEGA as of yet.
No Sonic Unleashed was a one time game that will not have a sequel.
I hope this isn't the last game, but only time could tell.
SEGA is doing great i think. they might continue to make more. i came up with "sonic unleashed 2." it will be where eggman turns him into a werewolf again. then sonic will find light gaia. light gaia will say to sonic "i need help. dark gaia is back." i hope SEGA reads this. SEGA will have more then that.
because sega don't make game consuls any more so they make games for other systems like sega all star racing and such
Yes and no. Sonic Dimensions is a downloadable Sonic fan game created by supersonic68. It features levels from previous Sonic games. But it is not an official Sega released game. I doubt that Sega actually will make a game with that title, but you never know.
Seelkadoom isn't an official Sonic character,so mabye not.
In the begining when Sonic did not exist, Mario games and Nintendo dominated the gaming world. SEGA decided the needed a mascot too. Then Sonic the Hedgehog was born. Sonic and Mario games fought furiously until SEGA over came Nintendo. Now they both are at level. They now work together to make the legendary Mario And Sonic games. The rivalry is just a remembarance and a appreciation of those days. Sega never overcame Nintendo; Sega just gave up and stopped making video game hardware.
I haven't played Sonic Unleashed, so I don't know for sure, but I think that most Sonic fans hate it, and that's why Sega isn't going to make a sequel.
