yes Pokemon is better than sonic because pokemon is about catch , and battle Pokemon, have rivals , and battle gym leaders and your rivals , have proffesors that give you starter Pokemon and pokedex to give you lots of information about pokemon ,catch legendary Pokemon, battle bad guys like team: rocket, aqua, magma, galactic, and plasma, have adventures, earn money, evolving weaker pokemon into stronger Pokemon, and receive items like TMs and HMs,berries,pokeballs, x accuracies x speeds, x attacks, x defenses , x special attacks, x special defenses, and Potions to heal pokemon (to heal pokemon that are weak and make them strong again), get maps, get items that connect with others in the key items bag , get badges to put in a badge case to get to the pokemon league that's pokemon. and sonic is mad suckish because it's just about running, getting rings,spinning , letting a yellow two tailed genius girl fox name tails stalk him and fighting a fat, crazy, ugly doctor name "dr. eggman" fight you with robots and fight this black and red hedgehog that looks like a maniac who has a lot of guns, teleports, uses these suckish attacks known as "chaos blast, chaos spear, and chaos control (which that makes no sense)" who was created in a laboratory be your only rival and his name is just "shadow the hedgehog" ( instead of a regular person as your rival) and his girlfriend a white headed bat with a brown body that has to much make up (which she's mad creepy) be this red bulky ugly girl haired echidna be his girlfriend.
