COD is a casual game for run and gunners. It's not meant to have much strategy or teamwork; it aims to be a quick paced shooter that gets you into the action very quickly. so if you like an arcade style fps, then yes it's good.
it's also unrealistic, very much so, but hey it's a video game.
To be completely honest COD is a very well made game on its own but the main problem the users have with it is that it's repetitive and has gotten away using the same engine for a string of multiple titles back to back. the user reviews on metacritic for example is insanely low. It's a 2.2 out of 10.
beware of hackers on the older titles (and even the newer ones) if you're getting it for pc. and the matchmaking and host transfer system is kind of flawed, infinity ward also tends to lack dedicated servers in their games. there's a lot of other points to be raised about COD as a series but the point is yes it's a good game but whether or not you'll enjoy has to do with your preferences in a shooter

Already there has been a new record of the latest call of duty game Call of duty modern warfare 2.
Call of Duty is suitable for older teens and adults. It is a somewhat violent game and would not be suitable for a teen younger than 16. This game is good for removing some frustration as it is a shooting game.
the most new game in Call of Duty it is most exiting but the sniper shooting is the the best of all of call of duty.
