In Pokemon Blue how do you get infinite items?

to get infinite items in blue version, all you have to do is make sure you have a Pokemon that knows fly and surf, and the item you want duplicated in the 6th slot of you item bag. (you cant duplicate items like HM's or pokeflute that you only get one of) you fly to viridian city, and talk to the old man who wouldn't let you go through in the very beginning of the game when he says "ahhh, I've hade my coffee and now i feel great. sure you can go through!" when he says "are you in a hurry?" says "no" and he'll show you how to catch Pokemon. after that you fly to cinnabar island and surf on the right (east) edge of the island. DONT MOVE OVER ANY MORE TO THE RIGHT!!! make it look like your little seal is half on land and half on water. then surf up and down on the coast, making sure that don't go in to the open sea. surf until you find a Pokemon called missingno. (missing number. you may find something very odd like a level 7 rattata, or a level 50 raticate. don't try to catch it.) when you see missingno. youDO NOT WANT TO CATCH IT. IT HAS A 99.999% CHANCE OF COMPLETELY MESSING UP YOU GAME LIKE ERASING DATA. instead of catching it, just run away (you will always be able to run away, no matter what level you Pokemon is or he is). when you look in your bag at the sixth slot there should be a little blob of something by your item number. that means you have a lot. if you use something like a rare candy, you will run out after a while if you use it a lot. just refill by repeating. i hope you found this helpful. i know its kind of long. sorry!
