Yes, you can do this. When Divine Wrath resolves and tries to destroy Thought Ruler Archfiend, you can pay 500 LP and destroy Telekinetic Shocker's effect instead.

How do you summon Thought Ruler Archfiend?

The same way as any regular Synchro monster. You need to send one Tuner monster, and one or more non-Tuner monsters, with a combined level of 8, to the graveyard. Then you can place 'Thought Ruler Archfiend' from your Extra Deck into play, as a Synchro Summon.

What does a good chess player think about while playing?

A good chess player thinks about the game he is playing. A plan. A good chess player thinks about the plan he or she has formulated to attack the opponent. Too many players play without a plan on what to do and how to do it. They just move pieces with no thought about setting up the opponent for the kill. This requires thinking several moves ahead of the one about to be made. For example, a good player might notice that the opponent's King is in danger of a back rank mate, but that a piece of the opponent blocks the way. The good player figures out a way to capture or get the blocking piece to move out of the way. The plan might require making at least two moves to do this but if successful in getting the blocking piece out of the way, the opponent's King is mated.

What is a hand trap in Yu-Gi-Oh?

A 'hand trap' is what some people call certain cards that are played from hand, countering an action that the opponent thought couldn't be stopped, like due to you having no S/T cards set. For example if you have no S/T cards, then an opponent could assume a direct attack would be successful, or perhaps they were sure their stronger attacker could destroy your defender. But in this case cards like Battle Fader and Honest are 'hand traps'. The opponent was lured into taking an action, and was foiled by a card from hand.
