To clarify the above post, on the first day, Halo: Reach sold $200m (two-hundred million) dollars worth of merchandise. In the first sixteen days, it sold about $350m (three-hundred fifty million) dollars worth of merchandise. Official NPD Group statistics show that Halo: Reach sold about 3.3 Million units in North America alone; making it one of the only three games to break the 3m (three-million) in its first sales month.
