With 55 PS3 games, 15 PS1 Games, Add ons, 11 Mini Games, 12 GB Playstation Home storage. Some Videos and Photos and no movies I used 230 GB of the 298 GB available on a 320 GB PS3. Yet over 75 percent of it was able to fit on my 120 GB PS3 because game size varies so much. I seen more than one games that Playstation Plus offered as Ultimate Editions with all DLC included list the download size at 14 GB
The 160 GB storage of the PS3 can be used for more than just games and the size of games varies. The Games also can have Map packs and that adds to the size. The game data for discs will also hold information on the harddrive even if it does not hold the complete game and that takes less room than a download. The amount of space used for demos, videos and other PS3 functions also reduces the room for game downloads. Keep in mine than every game has a different download size. You might also realize that if you do not like the game you downloaded you do not have a disc to return for it's trade in value. Discs also require more room as the receive updates if you have an online connection and play them again. If money for the return of unused games is not a consideration then you should be asking how much will a 320 GB harddrive PS3 holds because a single game or two could have purchased the larger harddrive.
no Ps1 games are compatible with any ps3's and definatly not with the slim sorry
The console has no games included. If you mean how many games are there for the PS3 I have added a link to the Wikipedia site on PS3 games. The total number of PS3 games continues to grow and I have also added a link to the Gamespot link that should games that are both newly released and to be released.
No it is not Backwards Compatible only the 4 USB port early models were Due to the availability of an extensive line-up of PS3™ system titles, the 160GB PS3™ system is not backwards compatible with PlayStation®2 titles, but does maintain backwards compatibility for some original PlayStation® titles. So, As you can see, No compatiblity for any PlayStation 2 games, Only the original PS system. Which is good for me because I don't have any PS2 games, Only the originals! Awesome!
The PS3 does not come in a 180 GB model and never did and never will. I don't think they even make a standard laptop harddrive in the 180 GB size. PS3 uses standard laptop harddrives in the PS3 production, which are currently made with 160GB and 320 GB harddrives
alot
The PS3 320 GB model is just a different size of harddrive from the 160GB model and does not have different features that allow or prevent pirated games
yes
No Slim PS3s do not play PS2 games
You make a purchase based on what you want and what you might want later and the PS3 should only be purchased with the 160GB model if you can not find the Move bundle + the PS3 320 GB Model when you finally make your purchase. see related links You know that the 320GB model has a larger harddrive that will hold twice as much so buy it unless you just can't afford it. Games are $60 when first released for the PS3 so they extra 50 for double the harddrive should be an easy decision
no Ps1 games are compatible with any ps3's and definatly not with the slim sorry
