Typically, Minecraft usually uses 300MB + RAM - Usually about 600MB, but it is automatically allocated up to 900MB RAM (if your computer can handle that). Basically, the more RAM you have, the better Minecraft will run.
Depends on how much RAM you have if you have a good amount 6 gigabytes or more is pretty good for minecraft than you can search how to dedicate ram to minecraft. Or just watch this video...
1. Your computer doesn't have enough ram. 2. There is too many people on your server. OR 3. Your server doesn't have enough ram. :)
It depends on how many players and plugins you are wanting on your server at any given time.
Why would you make a minecraft server to play on it urself? It wastes RAM and time.
Ram doesn't always determine how fast games run. Although it does help. Updating your video cards is what helps.
It sucks balls.. It won't play a peace of crap. Only good for work. And for playing games like minecraft only.. It won't play elder scrolls oblivion on low without 3 fps or any higher. It can play on minecraft with on normal with 1.90 gbs of ram at about 15-20 but with 3.00 gbs of ram you play normal on about 40-50 fps.
as you add more worlds and blocks and buildings it uses more ram. you can boost your FPS by pressing Esc options then video setiings. turn render distance to normal turn clouds off turn performance to MAX FPS and grafics to fast.
Not really, but it is best if you have at least 2 GB of RAM left so that the game's FPS (Frames Per Second) is fast. Also a good broadband helps
Minecraft uses about 500 megabytes of RAM to play, that can vary if you change the settings.

Buy more ram for your computer. I was tired of only getting 30 fps on short/tiny render distance so i told my dad to buy for ram for my 64 bit operating system computer (if you only have a 32 bit it cant recognize more than 3 gigs of ram so it will be a waste. I got 6 more gigs of ram and i can run it really smoothly and its awesome
Gaming Laptops are designed to play games well. This means they have high amounts of RAM, a good processor and graphics card. This will play games well, whether the game is on or offline. This includes Minecraft.
There are a lot of things that would help you get higher fps. The recommended RAM for playing world of warcraft is 3gb.

Yes it can be depending on how many mods you have installed and how much RAM you have
