Yes, on the Nintendo dsi flipnote there is only blue, black, and red but you can use different PAINT styles (or brushes whatever you prefer) and overlap them. How do you make special effects on flipnote studio?
Well, there are many types of special effects. The simplest effect is the "Firework" effect. You can use either the Paint tool or the Pen tool to make it appear as if it was fading out as it expands. Personally, I use the Paint tools to create these effects whenever I'm making a Music Flipnote. (Turn on your Lightbox if it is not on!!!) First, select the second to last dark paint brush and draw a small circle anywhere on the screen. Go to the next page, and choose the lighter paint brush before the one you just used-- draw a circle larger than the previous one, and you can repeat this step for the last frames for this.
