How many episodes of Wheel of Fortune are taped in one day?

They normally record 5 episodes in a day. Wheel of Fortune has both a morning and afternoon recording of 2 or 3 episodes with different audiences. A months worth of programs are shot over 4 days when they are not on location. The current 29th season of Wheel of Fortune will soon air the weeks of the episodes that were recently shot in Portland during the last few days of March 2012 and the first couple of days of April 2012. Going Green (Portland) will air the week of Apr 30 - May 4, 2012 Portland Week will air during May 7 - May 11, 2012 College Week (Portland) on May 14 - May 18, 2012 and the Great Outdoors (Portland) on May 21 - May 25, 2012. Members from the Sony rewards club were offered a chance to attend this and other events each year.
