Ninja Gaiden 2 is both on Xbox 360 and PS3 (as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2) as well as having a PS Vita version.
Here are the difficulty levels, the ones with a * means it's not avaliable on the 360 version:
-*Hero/Ninja Dog=Easy (for noobs, it's impossible for you to die on this one. Enemies have less health and dumb),
-Acolyte=normal (Standard),
-Warrior=hard (Enemies have more health but they attack more often),
-Mentor=very hard (Again enemies have more health, attack more often, and you take more damage. They tend to block more.)
-Master ninja=punishing (list as such in the Vita Version, finally more healthm more block and... you know what i mean.)
-*Ultimate Ninja=this is suicide! (Enemies going blocking happy! Few hit and you're dead!)
I hope you like the answer.

There are around 20 levels in Ninja Gaiden 2, each level increasing in difficulty. Also here are some secrets too defeating the 3 greater feinds With Alexi, your best bet is the Dragon sword because it is more agile and you can use the Reverse Wind Technique. Volf is really easy to beat. He just charges at you. Zendonious takes awhile. Your best bet is the Eclipse Scythe. Use the dash and Y to hit him. Also attack him when he raises fire from the ground.
ALL zombie maps have infinite levels with increasing difficulty as the levels go on.
