After you wait six hours after slathering honey on a tree, the tree should begin to rustle. It does not matter how long you wait after the initial six hours, nor the location of the tree; a pokémon will be set there. Also note that the harder the rustling of the tree, the more rare the pokémon. The most common is Wurmple; Cherubi is uncommon and Munchlax is very rare. Please note that while these three were the only mentioned they are not the only ones who can be obtained from honey trees. I suggest you search for a list of pokémon obtainable by honey on Bulbapedia, and paying attention to Cherubi's rate of frequency.
go to the yellow trees that are spread out in the game and click a in front of the tree and it will say would you like to put honey on it and after a long time a Pokemon will appear on it
Well, the Pokèmon that appear on the tree are randomized; you can get a Heracross on Mt. Silver in HeartGold and SoulSilver, but it usually takes 6-8 hours for a Pokèmon to appear on a Honey Tree after you slather the bark with Honey.
Six hours after you put honey on the tree, a Pokemon will usually appear. Sometimes the Pokemon will eat the honey and leave though, so you will occasionally come back and find no Pokemon there, but your honey gone. Also, if you leave honey on a tree for too long, then the honey will be eaten and the Pokemon will leave before you can battle it, this happens twenty-four hours after you put honey on the tree.
After 6 hours a Pokémon should show up, the tree should shake, and once you examine the tree, you should fight it. After 24 hours, it will leave, and you will have to put honey on the tree again if you want another Pokémon.
If you want to catch an Aipom, you need to find some honey or buy it from the man at Floaroma town, then put it on the golden trees. These are chances of the Pokémon you will get from honey on trees, taken from Bulbapedia: Aipom 10% Burmy 10% Cherubi 10% Combee 20% Heracross 4% Munchlax 1% Silcoon/Cascoon 15% (depending on your version) Wurmple 30% Another question add to diss: Is this the ONLY way to catch an aipom cuz when u look at dee area on da dex it has abunch a places. (AND IVE SLATHERED A TON OF TREES WIT HONEY BUT I NEVER C THM RUSTLING ER ANYTING SO HOW DO U CATCH A POKEMON LICKING THE HONEY ER SUMTHING...?) P.S. srry its so long :P
After you put the honey on the tree, it'll take about six hours for a Pokemon to appear, but it might not be Cherubi.
1 honey by the way if anyone knows how long it take to get a Pokemon at a tree please email me at janineflores@AOL.comthanks
I think it takes a day or so ingame.
You wait about it is a little over 12 hours. The more it is shaking the rarer the Pokemon is.

it depends what tree it is cause not all of them have a burmy but it take an hour or 2
as far as i know 24 hours ive usually visited the tree after 8 or 9 hours 6 hours and 15 min approx. if left for over 24 hours the honey and Pokemon will have be gone.
The honey dissapears
No. I have not ever seen a Pikachu come up to a honey-slathered tree in that game, and I had the game for a long time. Nor have I heard anything of that sort online. Sorry
A Pokemon adventure on Pokemon Diamond Verison can last forever if you wanted it to.
