Because Wiis do not have an automatic shutdown after a certain period of time, they could theoretically stay on forever. Unfortunately, in that time you would probably lose power. If somehow you had an unlimited perfect power source, your Wii could stay on until it disintegrates. On a completely different note, if your Wii doesn't disintegrate, get crushed, overheat, or lose power, it may be discovered by aliens a gazillion years in the future. Possibly Video Games were really invented when archaeologists found a fossilized Nintendo...

Probably not, (Ahem) There are 2 regions of Wiis. PAL and NTSC. PAL Wiis can only play PAL games. NTSC games can only be played by NTSC Wiis. NTSC is usually for The USA, PAL is generally for everywhere else. There are also NTSC-J Wiis in japan.
You can't, Wiis are region locked.
The Wii was first released in the US in November of 2006, and more are still being made today.
Over 10 million consoles have been sold. 50,000 of which were in the first twelve hours of release.
The Wii is a game system by Nintendo that really isn't like any other video game because it makes you move and has internet connection.
