Pokemon Platinum is a newer version and the star Pokemon is Giratina.
The Gyms have a different order:
Roark
Gardenia
Fantina
Maylene
Crasher Wake
Bryon
Candice
Volkner
Some gyms have a new style.
Hypnosis accuracy is now 60% (Normal:70%)
How Onix poses is different.
You can catch Regice, Regirock and Registeel. (All in Lv.30)
After obtraining a National Pokedex talk to Proffesor Oak in Eterna City and Articino, Zapdos and Mortres.
You can obtrain more Pokemon for nothing, Togepi egg and Porygon Lv.25.
You can catch more Pokemon, e.g Mamoswine, Swinub, Gliscor.
Reggigas is Lv.1 making the weakest wild Pokemon in the game!
Magicarp in Resort Area levels are Lv.1-Lv.100 making it the strongest in the game.
Velistone Department Store has a extra floor for Contests!
You can battle the Elite four in two versions, Sinnoh Pokedex- Lower Levels and National Pokedex Higher Levels.
