Save and quit your game and go back to the main screen where it should say "Touch to Start". press "A" or touch the screen and select "Tag Mode". There you should meet Rover a small black cat. There you should wait for another person. (you can shut your DS while you are waiting) Occasionally open your DS and Rover says "Something is waiting for you, please start your game." Start your game, and someone should be waiting for you.

If you really want to completely delete your town and rebuild there is a fast and easy way to do this. When you start your DS, it will ask you Continue, Tag Mode, Other Things, and Never Mind. Choose Other Things. When you do it will pull up another list for you to choose from. Choose rebuild town. It will delete your entire town and all will be reset.
