On the Sims3 computer, you need to have the late night expansion pack - if you have this, then you go to Build Mode, then you will either see and elevator symbol or you go to stairs and they're with them .... I don't remember .... but give it a try and have fun playing Sims :)

You can only get a wild horse with Endangered animals expansion pack.
You CANNOT get just a dog if you have JUST HAVE THE BASE GAME (a.k.a only the sims 3 and no expansion packs) to get a dog you have to buy the sims3 pets expansion pack. Its a bummer, I know but totally worth it. Hoped this helped!
